PS Action April 26th
The NAPA Auto Parts Pro Stock feature was another torrid affair as
veteran Jeff Reist led much of the feature in that smooth style that
has characterized his long and storied career. Reist, Todd Bush, and
Dick Reynolds were out front and running strong but last week's
one-two punch, Chaney Newland and Vern Buskirk, were working their way
forward from deep in the field. A late race caution position Newland
to launch to the lead with Reist and Buskirk in pursuit but to no
avail. Newland nabbed his second win of the season over Buskirk,
Reist, Bush, Reynolds, Calvin Castle, Barry Rinard, Pete Hundey, Eric
Hoisington, and Kent Strong.
