The Kentucky Fried Chicken late models were next up on Saturday night and with the track tacky fast Roger Wing showed why he is a member of the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame as he patiently waited to pick up the checkered flag in this 30 lap feature event.

The racing was fast and furious as 20 late models battled it out for the win. Justin Mcneil led the first 26 laps of this event but the show was back in the pack as the crowd was treated to a late model racing clinic in patience by Roger Wing. With only a couple of cautions slowing the action wing ran his race to perfection, waiting until the leader started to struggle in lap traffic before pouncing and taking the win. Justin Mcneil, Carl Ries, Jeff Kohn, and Mark Anderson all earned top 5 finished. 

Heat race wins went to Matt Pickard and Mickey Carman Jr.
