  The Kentucky Fried Chicken late models had a night off from the points so racing was fast and furious with twenty cars in the pits

In the first heat it was Jay Van Dyke ending up in victory lane. In the final heat of the night for the late models it was Curt Messman picking up the checkered flag. The first caution of the thirty lap feature event would fly on lap sixteen as Dan Delong looped it in turn two. Dean Huizenga lead the first fifteen laps as Carl Reis and Justin Robinson would try to figure out a way around the number 9. It would not happen however as Huizenga would pick up the win over Reis, Robinson, and Matt Pickard...
