Nineteen Kentucky Fried Chicken Late models were on hand tonight. The thirty lap feature slowed early when, on lap three, the 88 machine of Bob Findley lost an axle and came to a stop in turn three. On The restart Kyle Borgman, the Tri-City champion in 2011, went around on his own and the field slowed yet again.

It was another tough night for Michigan Motorsport Hall of Famer Roger Wing, as he got lose and multiple cars spun to avoid the 55w, bringing out the third caution of the night.

Another restart and another car lost the rear end as the nine machine of Dean Huizenga spun his wheels, and four cars were collected trying to avoid. The final spin of the feature was by Scott Nieman who, on lap twenty, collected Scott Baker just as he took the lead.

Baker, last weeks feature winner, was able to continue and a furious battle ensued between he and Tom Dusen. Dusen was able to hold on for the last eight laps, picking up his first feature win of 2012, and stopping Baker from scoring back to back features.

Justin Robinson was third, Matt Pickard fourth and rounding out the top five was Dean Huizenga.

Early heat race action was dominated by former champion Tom Dusen in the first heat and Justin Robinson in heat two.

Also having great heat race runs were Kurt Messman, Josh Knoll, Rob Brillhart, and Carl Reis.
