Three heats were scheduled and great racing was seen in all of them with Jerry Hunt winning the evening’s first heat while heat two went to AJ Ward. Heat three saw a great battle between Dan Minikey and Myron DeYoung and in the end it was Dan Minikey Jr. Picking up the heat race win 

In the first of two B mains for the modifieds it was Rusty Ziegler picking up the checkered flag while Mike Shanteau was victorious in B main number two. The caution flag flew for the first time in the feature when the Ziegler’s, Mike Shanteau and a couple of others were collected on an incident in turn number one. Armond Holley brought out the second yellow flag when the 55 machine broke going down the front strait. Just as it looked like there was going to be a battle for the lead between AJ Ward and Jerry Hunt, a spin by Glenn Moon brought out the caution yet again. In the end the victory belonged to Jerry Hunt. AJ Ward finishes second, Myron DeYoung third, and Brody Bowser and Chad Wernette rounding out the top five.
