Former modified track champion Myron DeYoung was able to make his way to the winners circle in the Engine Pro IMCA modified 20 lap feature event. DeYoung who started outside the top ten was able to use a couple of cautions and early restarts to make his way to the front.

The winner on Friday night at the Ionia Free Fair, Chad Wernette, gave it everything he had but was forced to settle for a second place finish, third went to Dan Minikey Jr, fourth was Jerry Hunt, and rounding out the top five was Jason Borton.

The three heat race winners were Myron DeYoung, Jason Borton, and Jerry Hunt.
