You never realize how much you will miss something until it isn’t available every time you want to go there. Well, alright, I suppose the proper way to say that is it isn’t easily available when I want to go.
A Word or Two on Photos
As some of you may know, I repurchased the photo concession from Brian and we are getting set up again. You may have also noticed that I am adding photos to the Facebook pages of various drivers. I am doing this with as many drivers as possible, starting mainly with the drivers that I interact with during the season and during the off season. I will gladly add a photo to any drivers page if you send me an email or a message... but then again, there is a method to my madness.
Didn't We Just Good-bye A Couple Weeks Ago?
Like the sands of the hour glass, so go the days of our lives… or something to that effect. It seemed just a few short weeks ago we were putting the Great Lakes Nationals in the books and here we are looking the new 2012 season straight in the face. Lots of old faces looking to be back to contend but I am seeing and hearing from a lot of new faces as well.
It has always amazed me that a small town like Crystal has always brought in such good crowds and so many really good local racers. I’ve had the honor of watching some of the best in the state race every week at my “home town track.”
