An early caution in the Pro Trucks feature, which involved Tim Wood and James McKeown, slowed the field before even a lap was completed. McKeown was eliminated from contention and a repeat for Wood was highly unlikely.
As the half way point Ashlee Scott took the lead from Dave Dancer. Two more cautions slowed the field down, but Scott continued to dominate the show and the young lady was able to pick up her first feature of 2012. Richard Melton placed second, Dave Dancer, Tim Peters an Bob Griffin rounded out the top five.
The two heat races we won by former division champs David Dancer and Tim Wood.
